The most common symptom of frozen coal is carry back - coal frozen to the side wall of a rail car that won't unload. This leads to a loss in coal yield, slows down unloading times and can increase the likelihood of a derailment. FreeFlow SR300 side release agent resists product loss due to run-off before rail cars are loaded. Because more product stays on the vertical rail car walls, a thicker and more effective freeze barrier is created that fights the formation of carry back.
