FDA Final ruling for Healthcare topical antiseptics
On December 20, 2017, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Published its final rule for healthcare topical antiseptic (antimicrobial hand care) products including the active ingredient Triclosan. They have deferred final ruling for other active ingredients such as ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, benzalkonium chloride and chloroxylenol.
